Missing 'Merica

I woke up this morning missing home so much. I don't know if its just because more time has passed since I've been there or because it's the fourth of July. I live in a resort, and I know it sounds crazy, but I can't help but miss Michigan lakes today. I would love to be home on a boat with friends and beer, listening to country music, laying in the sun, and watching fireworks crack over the water. You know what else I miss? Hugs. People here don't hug like they do at home - or I don't hug them like I hug people at home. Feeling nostalgic for Ann Arbor, friends, and family and thinking of my favorite country today. I miss you <3
